Nedra’s purpose is centered on creating organizational health through executive coaching, team coaching and third-party facilitation. She is in her third decade of effective, committed work in this field, most often for state, federal and tribal government leaders, teams, and their organizational partners.

She finds out what people are ready for (by asking and listening); and then custom designs coaching and/or collaborative co-learning processes to help participants themselves create the best possible outcomes together.

She is a credentialed coach through the International Coach Federation; a mediator on the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution’s National Roster of Conflict Resolution Professionals & Native Network, and a seasoned third-party workshop designer, and facili-trainer. Effective action and results are accomplished through authentic relationships and trust. For example, she has:

  • Successfully delivered over 5000 hours of professional coaching to government leaders and teams in the past 5 years. Sometimes this includes intensely-practical and efficient ways for leaders to receive and use feedback directly. Her clients have called this positively ‘game changing’ for them, along with significant benefits for all those with a stake in the organization’s work. She is qualified to deliver Lumina Learning Spark and Lumina Leader 360.
  • Mediated or facilitated more than 300 complex environmental and public policy conflicts in the western U.S. and nationally. These have included a large range of public land management, environmental and health policy issues (click here to see Yellowstone example).
  • Provided expert consultation and design for clients to invent their own systems and approaches that prevent un-necessary conflict before it develops.

Nedra holds a masters in social geography from the University of Washington and graduate certificates in public health, and in mediation skills. She is mom to two lively adult children. She lives with her husband Scott in the heart of Helena – especially happy for the frequent, easy hike or bike trips into the hills just minutes from their back door.
